Tianjin Port Sea-Rail Intermodal Domestic Container Train Sends Over 80000 Boxes

On October 14, workers from the Li Port Business Department of Tianjin Freight Center of Beijing Railway Bureau were shipping containers.
Since the opening of container trains on January 19, 2015, the proportion of railway container transportation in Tianjin Port has risen sharply. As of October 10, 80944 TEUs have been completed for containers sent from Tianjin Port to Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia and Inner Mongolia by railway.
The opening of container trains has led to the further transformation and development of railway logistics, providing impetus for the national "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy and the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
